Learn the secrets for success in the acclaimed Bid Skills course, and acquire the knowledge and skills to elevate your bid submissions. 

Aimed at SMEs and NFPs, the course aims to improve your skills, confidence and bid management techniques  – distilling 15+ years’ of bidding experience and expertise .

Naomi (Bid Coach) was first commissioned to create the course in 2022 by a London Borough who had been impressed with a bid written by her and who then wanted Naomi to train their stakeholders.

The flagship course was fully booked within days and got brilliant feedback, as have the subsequent bid training workshops. 

Bid skills programmes are funded by public sector partners who invest in training their SME communities to grow and prosper, such as Camden Council, Plymouth City Council, Oceansgate and South Norwood.

Bid training FAQs

Q: I’m new to bid writing and don’t know where to start – is the Bid Skills course right for me?

A: Absolutely it is; I’ve designed this course specifically for people who describe themselves as having basic or intermediate bid writing skills – it is not for professional Bid Writers or those with extensive tendering experience.

Q: Do I have to attend all the workshops?

A: Each element of the training programme builds on the knowledge and skills shared in the previous module, so whilst you don’t have to participate in all sessions, you will get maximum value by doing so.

Q: What is the format of the training sessions?

A: The Bid Skills for Success course is delivered online and in-person, which helps keeps it accessible.  Please indicate which option you’d prefer when completing the enquiry form, and we can explore options.

Q: How many people will be on the same course as me?

A: Each cohort is capped at 15 participants, to ensure focused attention and support can be provided to everyone.
